Atlantis (Ancient Greek: Ἀτλαντὶς νῆσος, "island of Atlas") is a fictional island mentioned within an allegory on the hubris of nations in Plato's works Timaeus and Critias, where it represents the antagonist naval power that besieges "Ancient Athens", the pseudo-historic embodiment of Plato's ideal state
Digital drawing I wanted to do for a long time. Incorporated photos of Mt.Saint Michele, Mexico City basilica, some parts of La Valletta, Malta...etc. Basic 3D model done in ArchiCAD 18, painted mostly in Sketchbook Pro, finished in Photoshop. I’ll add some more mist, clouds... change few things later as impressions settle.
